The Hit Dogs Baseball Club launched their inaugural travel baseball season in August 2020 with five teams at 8U thru 11U and 15U (2024 graduation year) with 65 players. This past year we grew to nine teams at 8U thru 13U, 15U and 16U (2024 graduation year) with 104 players.

HD Baseball Club
1. 9U: Born after May 1, 2014
2. 10U Orange AA or AAA: Born after May 1, 2013
3. 10U Black Major: Born after May 1, 2013
4. 11U Orange AAA: Born after May 1, 2012
5. 11U Black Major: Born after May 1, 2012
6. 12U Black Major: Born after May 1, 2011
7. 12U Orange AAA: Born after May 1, 2011
8. 13U: Born after May 1, 2010
HD Academy
9. 15U (2027 grad year and younger)
- All local tournaments
- No college or university exposure events
10. 17U (2025 grad year and younger)
- Plan to play 1 event outside of Arizona
- Opportunity to attend 6+ private NCAA or JUCO showcase events
11. 18U (2024 grad year and younger)
- Plan to play 1 event outside of Arizona
- Opportunity to attend 6+ private NCAA or JUCO showcase events
Note: All high school players will have annually two post high school placement planning sessions with Coach Jett Bandy.
Training Model
We directly train you:
- based on your defensive position,
- as a pitcher (everyone learns),
- as a hitter, and
- as part of a team to advance you and your teammates game situation IQ.
Our training model includes a mix of indoor and outdoor training.
- Players have the OPTION to train up to 5-7 hours per week with us.
- Our training model is designed to provide families with options; when you miss a practice, you are not chased and your child is not penalized.
Weeknight - Catchers - indoor training @ Legends (invite only) 1 hour
Weeknight - Pitchers - indoor training @ Legends 1-2 hours
Weeknight - Hitters - indoor training @ Legends 1-2 hour
Weeknight - Defensive skills for infielders and outfielders 1-2 hours
Weekend - Game Situations 1.5 hours
Tournaments
- We will play in quality events including those hosted by Perfect Game, USA Baseball, Prep Baseball Report, AZFC, West Coast Premier and Five-Tool and USSSA (for 8U to 14U teams).
- We plan to play in not less than 11 tournaments between September 1, 2022 and May 31, 2023 (July 15, 2023 for high school aged players).
Contract Principles
- One-year agreement from Aug 1, 2022 to July 31, 2023.
- Train and play at 2 defensive position AND develop as a pitcher.
- Play not less than 8 out 11 innings at your position.
- Small roster sizes.
Fees:
- 9U and 10U: $3,00
- 11U, 12U and 13U: $3,500
- 14U, 16U and 17U: $4,000
- There will be no other costs other than your fees: tournaments, trainers, uniforms are all part of your fees
- Fees are paid by way of a deposit and then the balance spread out over a few months.
- Full uniform package included.
