We are an elite travel baseball training and development program for players aspiring to play post high school baseball at the collegiate and or pro level. Simply put we train to develop, not train to play.
It doesn’t mean we aren’t competitive but it does mean that we value the athlete’s baseball skill set development and health over “rings”. If you train and develop a player properly and each player is committed to becoming a better version of themselves as a person and baseball player, day-in and day-out, you will win a lot of baseball games as a team and program. The game rewards players and programs that do it the right way.
To execute on our objective we use subject matter experts to train baseball skills, whether it is a one knee down catching expert who played in the show as a catcher, a gold glove middle infielder or a pitcher with MLB innings under their belt, we use those that have “done” at the collegiate and pro level, and those that are very strong at translating their experiences - successes and failures – in the pursuit of exceptional development for Hit Dogs players.
We principally use our own 15,000+ square foot indoor baseball training facility located in Tempe, AZ when we train (we train a lot) and we train with an instructor to player ratio of no more than 6:1 and often as low as 3:1.
If you are interested in becoming a Hit Dog, please contact Tony Busseri to set up a private tryout.

Our programming emphasizes advanced skill and technique development. Train to develop, not train to play.
The Hit Dogs launched their inaugural travel baseball season in August 2020 with five teams at 8U thru 11U and 15U (2024 graduation year) with 65 players.
For the 2022-23 season the Hit Dog Program will have 11 teams from 9U through 14U and two high school teams for 2024, 2025 and 2026 grad years.
We train at our new private indoor training facility in Tempe and at diamonds in Ahwatukee and Chandler.
